This live-action teaser presented a significant opportunity for co-direction, allowing for the creation of something remarkable. My primary focus lay on the visual aspects. Paying close attention to lensing, cinematography, and wardrobe was of utmost importance to me. I aimed to imbue the teaser with an intimate visual narrative, capturing the emotions of the cast as well as a cinematic quality, collaborating closely with DOP Scott Kevin to achieve this vision.
The version showcased here is my Director's cut, emphasizing visual mood and ambience, while capturing the sadness and tension in the air, as the riders anticipate their impending battle at daybreak. The Lord of the Rings Online: Riders of Rohan, is an expansion to the free-to-play multiplayer online roleplaying. Riders of Rohan expands the online world of Middle-earth where players join forces to ride into the Plains of Rohan.
